The current members of Sophia Rising (Jenn, Jess, Hannah, and Lo) have been working hard to re-envision the structure and community of Sophia Rising. We have been hearing the calls of Sophia to grow, expand, and share even more deeply our hearts, lives, and resources with one another on this journey of healing from patriarchal religion and reconnecting with the Divine Feminine within and all around.

Who can be a member of Sophia Rising?
Anyone who supports the mission, vision, values, and commitments of Sophia Rising can apply to be a member. Some might feel called or curious about their own spiritual leadership as priestess, pastrix, or minister offering programs and services, while others might just enjoy being part of the community and attending events and gatherings as they are able. Any or all of that is welcome! You also don’t need to be local to St. Louis. We welcome friends near and far!
What are the benefits of being a Sophia Rising Member?
- Lead or participate in Sophia Rising member prayer gatherings and retreats
- Share about yourself and your offerings on the Sophia Rising website and promote any upcoming related programming through Sophia Rising marketing channels
- Use the shared space and resources of Sophia Rising in coordination with other Members
- Collaborate with other Sophia Rising Members on programs and projects
- Engage in shared decision making for the good of the cooperative
What are the expectations of Sophia Rising Members?
- Uphold the mission, vision, values, and commitments of Sophia Rising
- Pay a monthly membership due of $13
- Attend and participate in quarterly member meetings
- Engage in consensus decision making, nonviolent communication, and conflict resolution as needed
